Do you want to get to know the Bible a bit more? Do you want to understand more how the Bible all works together to tell the greatest story ever told of God’s plans and purposes for his world and his people?
The Bible Society have produced The Bible Course – an interactive 8 week course for churches and small groups, based around video material and discussion.
At St. Paul’s, we are planning to run this course in the coming weeks, with the aim of us getting to know the Bible better. The course material is equally accessible for both new Christians and those wanting to add to their knowledge and experience of the Bible.
The course will be held on Monday evenings, beginning on 17th May for five weeks looking at the Old Testament, then after a mid-course break running for another three weeks, looking at the New Testament, beginning 5th July.
To get the most out of the course, we would encourage participants to commit to all or most of the sessions.
There are also recommended course booklets, which you can purchase to support learning between sessions. The sessions will be led by Brian Dale and Neil Meehan, and will run on Zoom. Each session will begin promptly at 7.30pm and finish by 9pm.
If you would like to be part of this course, please contact Brian at firstname.lastname@example.org or Neil at email@example.com. If you would like to find out more about the course, you can look at the website.
Here is also a short video trailer which you can watch to give you a flavour of the course:
